Q&A with Zoë Alicia
I regularly receive questions on Instagram about my life in the music industry. All of your DM’s don’t go unnoticed so as I promised, here is a fun Q&A with me! Some of these questions come straight from you guys via the @mszoealicia Instagram. Thank you for understanding my inbox is quite intense, so I figured this would be the best place to answer them all!. I know you’ve seen me announce “Ask Me Anything” on my IG story and have encouraged you to ask any questions about my experiences, moments, challenges, and any lessons I’ve learned that I could pass along. These are just the first 5 questions. You can subscribe below for my exclusive Q&A with short, bite-sized interviews and highlights. I’ve combined these questions from some of my most commonly asked questions, from my DMs, and my emails. Here I will answer them all. Subscribe below for the Exclusive #WhenZoeYourAnR Q&A!
Where are you mainly located?
LA/ Miami / NY
What’s the most rewarding part about being an A&R?
When the music comes out as proof to all the work that was put in. Seeing people enjoying the music, watching your artist perform, seeing it go up the chart.
How can I get a meeting or consultation?
I’m unable to consult anyone so I often point people in the other direction to work with other people.
Are you interested in doing more panels and if so how could we request you?
I am interested, in fact I have done a few and I’m open to more opportunities. Please send all inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org. I also can be reached through my brand manager Blair R. Walker email@example.com
Do you have any advice for females working in the industry?
This is a male dominated industry but that doesn’t mean that woman can’t make it. Roles for women are growing more and more everyday. Part of the reason I started this website is to try and encourage other women to get in the game.
